Digital / Performance Marketing Manager sought by an omni-channel hair & beauty retailer and operator of luxury salons and spas throughout the UK and North America. 

The Role:

Reporting into the Head of Performance Marketing, you’ll work closely with the wider business and external agencies to identify new opportunities and drive efficiencies and improvements for the multi-brand digital campaign performance and customer journey.

The business is undergoing a digital transformation, and they’re looking for a passionate expert in paid search marketing, with hands-on experience in building & optimising Google (incl. Shopping), Bing and Facebook ad campaigns. You’ll also have a good knowledge of all other digital marketing channels, e.g. SEO, CRM, affiliate marketing and customer journey optimisation.

Your duties will include:

  • Support the Head of Performance Marketing to deliver the digital marketing strategy
  • Be responsible for the management and optimisation of all biddable media including paid search, Google Shopping, programmatic display and social media advertising
  • Be responsible for the management and growth of the affiliate programmes, working closely with our account manager to develop relationships with key publishers
  • Work with various internal teams to develop the campaign calendar and successfully execute key campaigns with supporting digital channels
  • Ownership of reporting and analysis against agreed KPI’s to demonstrate customer acquisition, incremental revenue uplift and campaign ROI
  • Work with brand marketing and content teams on strategic digital campaigns and creative assets
  • Identify insights & trends, optimise performance & spend based on those insights & trends
  • Keep abreast of new marketing technologies, identify new campaigns/revenue opportunities
  • Manage digital marketing budgets and support the Commercial Data Analyst in delivering spend/performance forecasts
  • Support the CRM and social media teams in identifying opportunities to grow the customer database and customer engagement
  • Use A/B testing strategies to optimise the customer journey and deliver improved ROI

The successful Digital / Performance Marketing Manager should have most of the following:

  • 7+ years digital marketing experience
  • Experience of managing agencies and working with account managers to deliver results
  • A data centric, analytical and creative approach with strong knowledge of Google Analytics and other marketing reporting tools
  • Budget management experience and strong commercial acumen to deliver ROI whilst driving growth
  • Hands on experience in managing Google Shopping and Search campaigns via Google Ads and social ad campaigns via Facebook Ad Manager
  • Excellent understanding of SEO best practice and optimisation techniques
  • Experience of managing affiliate programmes and managing relationships with third party sales channels and aggregators
  • A customer centric approach, with a good understanding of UI/UX best practice and customer journey optimisation from a B2C ecommerce/ebooking background
  • Proven history of delivering improved performance and achieving targets and objectives
  • There may be a requirement to work in Coventry for a short time until the company completes their move to Birmingham in September
